PACCAR engine machining

PACCAR engines arrive from fleets and independent truck shops across western Ohio and central Indiana, most often for cylinder head work and rod reconditioning.

Heads are inspected, machined and reassembled in a dedicated clean room; connecting rods are checked for bolt thread condition, the caps ground and torqued to tension, and the rod bore machined back to correct size and roundness with the centre-to-centre distance verified before it leaves.
