Pressure testing
PDM uses a process of pressure testing in which the cylinder head is sealed, immersed in a tank of water, pressurised and inspected for any leaks.

Pressure testing
When a pressurised cylinder head is immersed in water, a leak or crack cannot be overlooked.
In order for the sealing plates to seat correctly and the leak or crack to be correctly located and identified, the cylinder head must be clean.

Complete disassembly, thermal and hot-tank cleaning, and inspection before any metal is cut.
- 02Precision machining
Boring, honing, grinding and align boring — every cut indexed to a true relationship.
- 03Final assembly
Careful assembly in a dedicated clean room, isolated from the rest of the operation.
