PDM is set up to machine single and multiple step flywheels, and brake drums and rotors.
The process
Flywheel grinding & press work
Flywheel and brake work is carried out on the same surfacing equipment used for engine parts, with the tooling selected for the part's type, size and composition.
PDM's crankshaft straightening press is also available for press work where a component requires it.

Stage 02 — precision machining

Complete disassembly, thermal and hot-tank cleaning, and inspection before any metal is cut.
- 02Precision machining
Boring, honing, grinding and align boring — every cut indexed to a true relationship.
- 03Final assembly
Careful assembly in a dedicated clean room, isolated from the rest of the operation.
