Engine assembly
All engines and parts rebuilt at PDM are carefully assembled by a rebuilding specialist in our dedicated assembly room.
The process
Engine assembly
PDM's dirt-free clean room is isolated from the rest of the operation in order to allow the engines and parts to be assembled without exposure to shop dirt and grime.
All engines are assembled with lithium grease to ensure adequate lubrication at start-up.

Stage 03 — final assembly
- 01Teardown & cleaning
Complete disassembly, thermal and hot-tank cleaning, and inspection before any metal is cut.
- 02Precision machining
Boring, honing, grinding and align boring — every cut indexed to a true relationship.
- 03Final assembly
Careful assembly in a dedicated clean room, isolated from the rest of the operation.
